This notice explains how DriverSeek LLC (DriverSeek) handles information through its public website, direct inquiries, driver application, invitation-only applicant portal and document center, and restricted administrator workspace.
Applicant information
The initial driver application collects your name, email, phone number, Arizona city and ZIP code, CDL and endorsement declarations, relevant years of driving experience, fingerprint-clearance-card and DOT-medical-card status declarations, broad availability, optional context you provide, work-authorization confirmation, accuracy acknowledgment, and consent to recruiting contact and limited staffing-customer sharing. DriverSeek also assigns an application reference and maintains internal status history and notes as the application is reviewed.
Sensitive information the application does not request
The initial application does not ask for a Social Security number, date of birth, driver-license or CDL number, medical diagnosis, treatment or test details, medical records, a background-check report, fingerprint record, financial information, or a credential image. It asks only whether certain cards or endorsements are current or held. Do not include sensitive information in an optional answer or unsolicited email. The separate invited document center accepts only the narrow certificate categories described below.
Invited portal account and profile
After DriverSeek records an application as approved, an authorized administrator may separately invite that applicant to create a portal account. Approval does not automatically create an account, activate a driver, promise work, or authorize work. The portal maintains an opaque profile and identity link, account and invitation status, verified account email, preferred display name, portal phone, notification choices, and nonmedical communication or accessibility preferences. The portal email is read-only and changes require administrator assistance. SMS notifications remain off until DriverSeek implements a separate phone-verification and consent process. Profile edits do not rewrite the original application.
Requested credential documents
For post-approval onboarding or renewal, an authorized DriverSeek reviewer may request a separate CPR certificate or first-aid certificate. The portal accepts a file only after DriverSeek requests that exact category for the signed-in owner; it does not offer general file storage. DriverSeek uses the certificate to review the requested training evidence, record its review and expiration or renewal status, and maintain an audit trail. Do not upload a combined certification packet, driver license or CDL, motor-vehicle report, date of birth, Social Security or tax identifier, fingerprint-card number or image, medical examiner certificate or other medical record, drug or alcohol screen, background report, tax or bank record, student information, or unrelated identity document.
Document access and security review
A portal user may access only that user's own technically clean, available document. Separate backend permissions control document reading, credential review, security operations, privacy response, and audit access; ordinary recruiting or dispatch access does not grant file access. An uploaded file first enters private encrypted ingress storage, where AWS malware scanning and a separate file-structure validator must pass before an exact version can enter the private encrypted vault. A clean scan does not mean DriverSeek has accepted a credential. Download links are short-lived, exact-version, attachment-only capabilities, and access is audited. If a clean file appears to contain prohibited content, DriverSeek marks it privacy-restricted; ordinary owner and reviewer access is removed while a specially authorized operator follows the containment, correction, hold, deletion, notice, and incident process.
Website and technical information
The services that deliver and protect this website may process network, device, browser, request-time, and page-request information needed to load the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. DriverSeek configures application access logs to retain limited operational details such as the requested route, response status, latency, size, and request identifier while omitting request bodies, cookies, source IP addresses, and user-agent strings. The public site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Automated abuse protection
The application form uses AWS WAF Challenge to reduce automated abuse. It runs automatically in the background during normal use. To provide this security service on DriverSeek's behalf, AWS may evaluate browser settings, automation indicators, device and network signals, and interaction signals such as mouse movement, key presses, and form activity. The integration stores an encrypted security token in your browser, subject to AWS WAF validity settings. Your browser may include it with same-origin requests, including ordinary submission retries, while it remains valid. AWS WAF evaluates the token at DriverSeek's protected application-submission boundary. DriverSeek does not copy the token into application records, backend storage, logs, or events, and does not use it for advertising.
Administrator access
Authorized DriverSeek administrators and invited portal users use separate account systems with passwords and required authenticator-app multi-factor authentication. Portal access uses a 50-minute access session and a rotating refresh session with a 12-hour absolute limit and a 60-minute inactivity limit. Authentication cookies are secure, unavailable to browser scripts, and used only for authentication, request protection, revocation, and sessions—not advertising. Logout, suspension, or account recovery invalidates active portal sessions.
Contact and applicant communications
When you use an email or telephone link, your device opens the email or calling service you choose. DriverSeek receives the address or telephone number you use and the content you send or discuss so it can respond, coordinate service, or follow up on an application. DriverSeek may also send a nonmarketing application-receipt email or recruiting follow-up. Communications providers process addresses, message content, and delivery information on DriverSeek's behalf; bounce and complaint information may be used to monitor delivery and suppress undeliverable addresses.
How information is used
DriverSeek uses information to operate and secure the website and invited portal, respond to inquiries, coordinate school transportation staffing, review applications and requested training certificates, communicate with applicants, maintain account, document, internal status, notes, and audit continuity, and meet legal or operational obligations. An approval recorded in the recruiting system is not an employment contract, automatic credential verification, dispatch authorization, or authorization to work for a school.
How information is shared
Applicant records are available only to authorized DriverSeek personnel for their assigned functions. Service providers may process information on DriverSeek's behalf to provide hosting, encrypted storage, key management, malware protection, authentication, email, telephone, backup, and application operations. DriverSeek may share relevant applicant information with school transportation customers when reasonably necessary to evaluate or coordinate a specific staffing opportunity, but the portal does not give a school access to uploaded files. DriverSeek may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, and systems. DriverSeek does not sell applicant information or share it for behavioral advertising.
Security
DriverSeek uses safeguards designed to protect the applicant system, including encryption, access controls, restricted administrator accounts, multi-factor authentication, and monitored AWS services. The application is designed to keep application bodies, authentication credentials, and unnecessary personal information out of system logs. No online system or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
DriverSeek retains applications, internal notes, and status history while an applicant is under consideration and afterward as reasonably necessary for recruiting and staffing records, audit continuity, disputes, security, and legal obligations. The current applicant system does not automatically expire these records. For an allowed CPR or first-aid upload, DriverSeek keeps the current allowed original until it is superseded, expires, or the portal closes, then schedules source versions for purge after 90 days unless a documented legal hold applies. Eligible recovery copies expire within 35 days after source purge. DriverSeek keeps minimal verification, access, and purge audit information for three years after portal closure. Security evidence and operational logs follow separate limited schedules. A documented legal, security, or dispute hold may delay deletion.
Your choices
You may ask about your application or portal record, request correction, withdraw from recruiting contact, request account closure or deletion, or raise a document-security or privacy concern. DriverSeek will honor applicable legal rights. DriverSeek may need to verify a request, and a request may be limited where recordkeeping, operational, audit, security, dispute, backup-expiration, or legal-hold needs make retention necessary. Portal users may update the limited profile fields identified above; account-email and identity-link changes require administrator assistance. Browser settings can remove cookies, but doing so may interrupt the application security check or sign an account out.
Children's privacy
The driver application concerns adult work opportunities and is not directed to children under 13. DriverSeek does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact DriverSeek to request review and appropriate removal.
Changes to this notice
DriverSeek may revise this notice prospectively as the website, services, or information practices change. The revised notice will show a new effective date, and DriverSeek will provide additional notice when appropriate for a material change.
