Privacy Policy

How Quick Dumpsters collects, uses, and protects customer information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when requesting a dumpster rental, creating an account, contacting us, or completing checkout. This may include your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, project details, selected dumpster size, rental dates, driveway or delivery-surface information, order notes, rental agreement acceptance, and messages sent through our contact form.

Account authentication information is handled through Amazon Cognito. Application records such as customer profiles, orders, inventory assignments, driver activity, contact messages, notification logs, and operational status history are stored in Amazon Web Services systems used by the application.

If you use driver QR tracking or if a driver services your order, we may collect tracking activity, delivery status, pickup status, driver notes, timestamps, and photos uploaded for delivery, pickup, or dumpster condition documentation.

We may also collect limited technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, request metadata, cookie or session information, and timestamps when you use the website.

How We Use Information

We use customer information to provide quotes, validate service area eligibility, confirm inventory availability, schedule deliveries and pickups, process payments, manage rental periods, send order updates, provide customer support, prevent misuse of the service, and maintain accurate business records.

We may use contact information to respond to questions, send transactional messages, and provide service-related notices. Marketing messages, if used, should include an appropriate way to opt out.

Payments

Payment information is handled through Stripe. Quick Dumpsters does not intend to store full card numbers on its own systems. Payment data may be used by Stripe to authorize charges, complete refunds, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or compliance obligations.

Quick Dumpsters may store payment status, checkout session identifiers, Stripe customer identifiers, payment intent identifiers, order totals, refund status, and related business records needed to operate and reconcile orders.

Sharing Information

We may share information with vendors and service providers who help operate the business, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, service-area validation, email delivery, logging, and infrastructure operations; Stripe for payment processing; Twilio or similar communication providers for SMS messaging; delivery or dispatch support; analytics providers; and professional advisors.

We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, to protect customers or the business, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, sale, or reorganization.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Logs

The website uses cookies and browser storage for functions such as authentication, order drafts, language or interface preferences, driver tracking sessions, and security-related behavior. Authentication cookies may be HTTP-only cookies that are not readable by ordinary browser scripts.

Our systems may create operational logs, security logs, API request records, error records, and notification records. These logs may include timestamps, IP addresses, request paths, user or driver identifiers, order or dumpster identifiers, and diagnostic details needed to operate, secure, debug, and audit the service.

Address Validation and Tracking Photos

Delivery addresses may be checked through AWS Location Service or similar mapping and geocoding tools to confirm whether an address appears to be within the service area and to identify eligible yards. Address validation may produce resolved address, distance, and coordinate information used for dispatch and fulfillment.

Tracking photos uploaded by drivers are stored in AWS file storage and associated with a dumpster, order, timestamp, and activity record. These photos may be used to document delivery, pickup, site conditions, container condition, customer requests, disputes, or operational history.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect customer information. No website, payment system, or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, collect amounts owed, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Your Choices

You may contact us to request updates or corrections to your information. Certain records may need to be retained for legal, payment, tax, dispute, or operational reasons.

Browser and device settings may allow you to limit cookies or similar technologies, but some website features may not work properly if those tools are disabled.
